Sacrifice Donation Process: Step-by-Step Guide

1. Make Your Qurban Donation: To donate your sacrifices to the Çare Foundation via proxy, you can transfer funds to our bank account via wire/EFT/FAST, donate online through our website, or come to our offices and make a cash payment with a receipt.
2. Share Distribution: Your sacrificial shares are distributed among the countries where the organization will be held by our foundation according to the requests of our donors and the needs of the recipients.
3. Selection of Sacrificial Animals: Employees of the Çare Foundation meticulously select and purchase sacrificial animals in accordance with Islamic rules in the countries and regions where the organization will be held.
4. Slaughter of Sacrifices: Sacrifices are slaughtered according to Islamic rules immediately after the Eid prayer on the first day of Eid al-Adha, and SMS notifications are sent to share owners. (Note 1: No animal that does not qualify as a sacrifice is bought or slaughtered. Note 2: All sacrifices are slaughtered by the afternoon prayer on the 3rd day of Eid al-Adha.)
5. Slaughter Videos: Videos are recorded during the slaughter, where the names of the share owners are read aloud. Links to these videos are sent to share owners via SMS so that donors can follow the slaughter process and its outcome.

Can Proxies Be Given to Aid Organizations? Proxies can be given to various foundations and associations that perform sacrificial sacrifices for needy regions within or outside the country. The only requirement is that the organization be reliable, ensuring that the sacrifice is slaughtered and its meat, skins, and other usable parts are delivered to the right places in accordance with its purpose and procedure.

How Will the Proxy Process Work?

• Proxies can be given verbally or in writing through communication tools such as phone, internet, or fax, making the process of donating through these channels easier.
• From the moment you deposit the sacrifice amount in the bank for sacrifice donations, you give a proxy to the Çare Foundation and its staff in accordance with the decision of the Presidency of Religious Affairs numbered 2018-31 (Organizations for the Purchase and Slaughter of Sacrifices by Proxy).

The amount of the overseas sacrifice donation made through the Çare Foundation in 2025 is determined as 4.300 TL. This amount covers the cost of sacrificial animals to be slaughtered and delivered to those in need according to the selected countries.

Sacrifice prices abroad are generally cheaper than those in Turkey. The main reasons for this are:

• Cost of animals: The cost of animals in the recipient countries may be lower than in Turkey.
• Operational costs: Labor and logistics expenses may be lower in some countries compared to Turkey.
• Economic conditions: Local economic conditions may affect the prices of sacrificial animals. These factors contribute to the overseas sacrifice prices being more favorable compared to those in Turkey.

How to Make a Sacrificial Donation in Africa?

To make a sacrificial donation in Africa, you can donate through a reliable aid organization such as the Çare. By donating through the Çare Foundation's website or offices, you can ensure that your donation reaches those in need in Africa. Your donations will be slaughtered and distributed according to Islamic principles.

Should Adak Sacrifices Be Slaughtered on Eid Days?

There is no obligation to slaughter adak sacrifices on Eid days. If the adak was given subject to a condition, it should be fulfilled as soon as the condition is met. However, if the adak was made for reasons like obedience to Allah, it should be fulfilled immediately.

According to Which School of Thought Do You Slaughter the Sacrifices?

We slaughter our sacrifices in accordance with the decisions of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, adhering to the four schools of thought of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah.

Do You Send Sacrifice Slaughter Videos to Us?

When your sacrifices are slaughtered, you receive an SMS notification informing you of the slaughter. Within 10 days at the latest after this SMS, a video of the sacrifice slaughter, where your name is read out loud, will be sent to you via SMS, allowing you to follow the slaughter process and its results.
