With the implementation of the "Al-Aqsa Mosque Project" in the Yumbe region of Uganda, Care Association not only overcame access to water issues but also elevated the overall living standards of the village. This project marks a new era in our organization's work on the African continent.
The project emphasizes the opening of deep well boreholes using advanced drilling technology, providing the village community with continuous and reliable access to water. This innovative approach ensured not only accessibility but also safe storage of water. Water was preserved in closed reservoirs, allowing easy access to clean water for the village community through the construction of water fountains.
Another significant component of the project was the construction of mosques. Mosques play a critical role in fostering communal and religious bonds while encouraging collective worship.
Facilities included in the project were designed with consideration for all sectors of society. Toilets, showers, and ablution areas were constructed with an architectural understanding sensitive to the community's needs.
The 250-square-meter mosque meets the religious needs of the local community both aesthetically and functionally. This structure, harmonious with Turkish architecture, contributes to the spiritual life of the community.
The project was implemented with the support of our donors. Details regarding costs and participation are available on the water well page of our website, showcasing Care Association's transparent approach and the strength of our donors' support.
This initial project in Yumbe not only addresses the basic needs of the village community but also demonstrates a respectful approach to Ottoman heritage. The construction of water wells and mosques will hopefully contribute to the spiritual and physical renewal of the village.
Following this successful project, Care Association draws inspiration to undertake similar initiatives in Uganda and other regions of Africa. The "Al-Aqsa Mosque Project" in Yumbe has been recorded as a significant step in enhancing the quality of life for the local community and strengthening the region's religious and cultural fabric.
After the success of this initial project in Yumbe, Care Association continues its efforts to embark on similar initiatives in Uganda and other regions of Africa. Through the success of this project, we hope to reach more communities in the future and improve their lives on this hopeful journey.
