After celebrating their graduation, the children in our orphanage at CARE Philippines in Cagayan De Oro attended the Youth Reading and Social Activity Camp held at Sinunom Falls Campsite. This camp was a great opportunity for them to unwind after a tiring school year and gain new skills.

A Camping Experience Close to Nature: Sinunom Falls

The camp held at Sinunom Falls campsite provided our children with an opportunity to experience nature while unwinding after graduation. They stayed in tents, swam in the cold pool and camp pool, and let go of the stress of the school year.

Spiritual and Material Feasts: Prayer, Rosary, and Honey

The camp program created a spiritual festive atmosphere with mass prayers, rosary recitals, prayers, and readings. In addition, the children were provided with material feasts by catching their own fish. This experience helped develop their spiritual and social skills.

Improving Our Children's Skills through Sports Activities

Our camp aimed to increase our children's interest in sports activities such as archery, wrestling, and swimming. These activities improved their physical skills and developed their social skills such as teamwork and competition. CARE Philippines thanks our donors for their contribution to this camp.
