Garissa city, the area where we made our water wells, which is on the border of Somali and Kenya, is an arid place, where the biggest problem with it seems it's villages' distance from water resources. People populated on this area usually meet their need for water from rivers.
They struggle to survive under the dangers of drowning and crocodile attack while taking a water from the river and this is part of the daily lives of these people eventhough it doesn't make sense to our mind. The water wells were built for these people who live in a great absence. then it was become a kind of charity, just not only for their health, but also to sustain their beliefs at the same time.
Muslims were obliged to go to church even to get water for the water-wells which were opened in the gardens of the churches and established in these regions. Muslims who want to preserve their beliefs , have to walk for miles on the road by going through a great trial in this harsh journey. We see these people who live under great difficulties, not only in terms of our humanity but also the necessity of our brotherhood ties.
