Our Tables Became means of Care Ramadan 2024

During the Sultan of eleven months, the month of Ramadan, we set out with your support and once again became a source of hope in oppressed regions with the call "Let Our Table Be the Remedy!" With the intention of bringing abundance to the tables of those in need around the world, we reached out to those affected by the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş in our country, those exposed to the massacres of the killer Israel in Palestine, those struggling for life in drought-stricken lands in Africa, and those struggling with hunger in Asia.

Care Association in Earthquake Zones

In Kahramanmaraş and surrounding cities shaken by the destructive effects of earthquakes, we continued our efforts tirelessly to heal wounds. By distributing approximately 1,250 aid packages, we assisted earthquake victims in meeting their basic needs. We tried to bring the blessings of Ramadan and the spirit of solidarity to earthquake zones by delivering zakat assistance to 4,500 people. Additionally, by serving an iftar meal for 2,000 people in Hatay, we knelt down with the earthquake victims at the same table.

The Care Association continues to support earthquake victims and meet their needs. You can also support these meaningful efforts by donating to the Care Association.

Daily Iftar Meals in Gaza, Palestine

For seven months, we have strived to stand by our brothers and sisters in Palestine in the face of oppression and the humanitarian drama in Gaza as the Care Association. Alongside the aid we have been sending by sea for months with your support, two months ago, we began providing hot meal assistance, which continued as iftar meals during Ramadan. Despite a few days missing due to intense bombardment during Ramadan, we managed to prepare and distribute iftar meals every day, praise be to Allah. With your donations, we have set up warm iftar tables for 30,000 people so far. With these tables, we tried to show them that we have not forgotten them and that we are with them during this process.

Food Packages and Zakat Distributions in the Middle East

Our Ramadan activities continued this year in Syria and Yemen, two countries exhausted by years of civil war in the Middle East. In Yemen, we distributed approximately 1,300 aid packages to needy families in the Marib and Sana regions. In addition, zakat assistance was provided to 2,500 people.

In refugee camps near the Turkish border in Syria, 10,000 packages consisting of basic food items were distributed. The needs of the region were also taken into account while preparing the packages. With these aids, we provided support to approximately 50,000 people.

Ummah Tables in the Arid Lands of Africa

In Africa, where people struggle for life in the grip of drought and hunger, we provided aid packages for approximately 150,000 people during Ramadan. We gathered with about 60,000 of our brothers and sisters in Uganda, Nigeria, Chad, Kenya, Tanzania, and Burkina Faso at the same table for iftar meals. Thanks to these packages and iftar meals, our African brothers and sisters were able to spend Ramadan more comfortably.

Additionally, we provided Eid gifts to a total of 550 brothers and sisters eagerly awaiting our arrival. We shared the joy of entering this holiday with new clothes with them.

Fighting Hunger in Asia

This Ramadan, we reached out to those in need not only in our country, Africa, and the Middle East but also in Far Asia. We gathered with approximately 10,000 people for iftar meals in the Philippines, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. We delivered the necessary food items to families with 4,500 packages during Ramadan. We also provided zakat assistance to approximately 10,000 people and Eid gifts to 650 children. Thanks to these aids, those in need in Asia were able to experience the joy and blessings of Ramadan.

A Thousand Thanks to Our Donors

As every year, we sincerely thank all our donors, philanthropists, and volunteers who supported us this year. With your support, we have reached and will continue to reach the blessings of Ramadan and the spirit of solidarity to our brothers and sisters all over the world.

We are just a means.
