📍 An iftar dinner was held in Kütahya with 60 Gazan students currently pursuing their education in the city. Organized by Çare Association, this meaningful event featured a special motivational talk by Prof. Dr. Hüsamettin İnaç, Head of the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Dumlupınar University. His inspiring words gave the night an added emotional depth. Alhamdulillah, sharing such beautiful moments gives us all strength.
We came together at an iftar table with 60 Gazan students studying in Kütahya. Organized by our association, this special program delivered messages of support to students who are struggling to survive amid the harsh living conditions in Gaza. At a time when Israel has halted humanitarian aid, food prices have skyrocketed by 100 times, and 2.3 million people are facing immense difficulty accessing basic necessities, this gathering played a vital role in boosting the morale of these students.
The guest of honor, Prof. Dr. Hüsamettin İnaç from Dumlupınar University, emphasized the historical significance of the Palestinian cause, the necessity of international support for the reconstruction of Gaza, and Türkiye’s critical role in this process. He reminded the students of hope with these words:
“You are not only valuable for your own future but also as a beacon of hope for your brothers and sisters in Gaza. When your education is complete, you will return as strong individuals for your country and the entire Palestinian people.”
“We Stand with Our Brothers and Sisters”
Volunteers and officials who attended the iftar emphasized their awareness of the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza and affirmed their continued support for the educational journey of Gazan youth. Representatives from Çare Association highlighted that, as the international community has estimated $53 billion is needed for Gaza’s reconstruction, uninterrupted education is critically important for the future of the Palestinian people.
One of our Gazan brothers, Ahmed Al-Hassan, shared his feelings with these words:
“During the days when humanitarian aid has been cut off in Gaza, and even electricity and clean water are unavailable, we have always felt the support and brotherhood of Türkiye.”
Çare Association continues to stand in solidarity with those in need both in Türkiye and abroad. Throughout Ramadan, the organization is conducting iftar programs and aid efforts for orphans, refugees, and students, delivering the generosity of donors to those in need.
As the humanitarian crisis in Gaza deepens each day, aid shipments from Türkiye to the region are of vital importance. With Israel suspending ceasefire talks and blocking humanitarian aid, the people of Gaza are in greater need than ever for basic food and medical supplies.

“We are just a means.”
